growing from zero to 10k followersSeven years writing software. Zero years on camera until now. So I’m running a 30-day experiment where I ship one tool a day, make the video using the tool I just built, and try to grow from zero to 10k followers without a course, a coach, or a budget.
Reels go up at 9 AM EST every weekday on Instagram and TikTok — both @roberto.builds. The tool calendar, daily status, and per-tool writeups live on the series page. Day 30 wraps with a full case study: every metric, every flop, every surprise I didn’t see coming.

Subscription management software for ecommerce brands.
- Designed and shipped the Feature Recommendation API — ranks next-best features per store from setup signals and performance data; adopted by Sales for prospect upsells and Support for customer recommendations.
- Shipped personalized store-performance email reports to 10,000+ stores — pulling data from multiple sources into a single digest that hit 50%+ open rates.
- Led the migration of analytics and reporting out of the main monolith into a dedicated microservice — decoupling data processing so the team could ship and scale it independently.
- Expanded the merchant analytics dashboard with long-requested reports — subscriber cohort analysis, cancellation-prevention and failed-payment-recovery performance, and order-to-order subscription lifetime metrics.

- Built a budget-scheduler 1,000+ sellers used to ramp spend for events like Prime Day
- Designed and shipped an editorial-content request dashboard 100+ sellers used to source product copy
- Co-led the cross-functional migration of payment infrastructure off Chargebee onto Stripe — modernized the billing stack and lowered ongoing operating cost

- Stabilized third-party platform integrations — cut platform-related ticket volume by 30% over six months
